Built as one space, not four jobs
An outdoor living space is usually several trades pretending to be one. The patio goes in, then someone else builds the cover, then someone else sets the kitchen, and the seams show. We build the hardscape and the structure together so the floor, the walls and the roofline are working off the same plan from the start.
What goes into one
- The floor — paver or flagstone, or poured if that’s the right call.
- Seat walls, low walls and the grade work that makes the space sit flat.
- Covered structures framed in timber.
- Outdoor kitchens.
- Fire pits worked into the layout rather than added afterward.
Electrical and plumbing get subbed out to specialty trades. We coordinate it; we don’t pretend to do it ourselves.
Outdoor kitchens
An outdoor kitchen is the piece that turns a patio into a room you actually use. We build the kitchen itself — the structure, the masonry, the counter and the surround — and the propane, plumbing and electrical go to the specialty trades that handle those.
